The European Summer University in Digital Humanities "Culture and Technology" 2026
The European Summer University in Digital Humanities “Culture and Technology” will take place at the Université Marie et Louis Pasteur (Besançon, France) from 6 to 18 July 2026. For those interested in the Ukrainian political discourse, Big Data in the Chamber: Corpus-Assisted Studies of Parliamentary Discourse Across Time and Space will include data from the Ukrainian corpus of parliamentary proceedings ParlaMint-UA!
ParlaCLARIN V
Glad to share that our work was presented at the ParlaCLARIN V Workshop held during LREC 2026. The presentation, titled “Quantifying Code-Switching in a Ukrainian Parliamentary Dataset (1990–2021)” by Olha Kanishcheva and Maria Shvedova, explores patterns of code-switching in Ukrainian parliamentary discourse over three decades. The ParlaCLARIN V Workshop is dedicated to interoperability, multilinguality, and multimodality in Social Sciences and Humanities research, with a focus on socio-political data and corpora.
